CCS9000 CONNECT Software

CONNECT^TM is a Windows^® based software program that provides destination selection and connection commands for the Comprehensive Communications System (CCS) hardware. Upon installation of the CCS hardware, remote modem/switch types and remote location port connections are entered into the CONNECT data base. All connection instructions are automatically put into place by CONNECT and the system is then ready to operate.

In operation, the primary screen is used to make the Remote Location and Port selection and the Connection command is issued with point and click. The connection is automatically and transparently made between the Master and the desired Remote modem/switch. When connected, the software offers the option of launching the software program to communicate with the device attached to the selected port at the selected remote location.

CONNECT is capable of implementing connections over multiple paths, including dial-up, leased/private lines and radio. Traffic Connections, a solftware version specifically designed for Traffic Management, is also available.
