Job Title: Technical Support PLC Communications Specialist
Job Description:
Perform activities necessary to resolve customer technical product and data communication issues.

Duties include:
1. Resolve customers' technical requests via telephone, email and online communication programs
2. Pre-sale consultation to propose solution alternatives to product application requirements
3. Perform software and field RF site surveys
4. Provide occasional customer on-site support
5. Assist order processing to resolve technical issues
6. Assist product management to achieve improved products and documentation
7. Team with R&D and Engineering for new product development and existing product improvement
8. Maintain customer case records and Return Material Authorizations
9. Prepare application and technical documents
10. Develop PLC and HMI
11. Assist technical writers, marketing and sales with sales and marketing documents
12. Identify and communicate competitive challenges
13. Backup sales department
14. Design and implement operating tradeshow demonstrations

Requirements:
1. 3 – 5 years industrial automation experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMIs and data communications
2. Excellent English verbal and written skills required.
3. Bilingual desirable.
4. Occasional travel required
