FastLinc Family of industrial high speed Ethernet modems offers four models
Data-Linc Group offers an industrial high speed wireless Ethernet product family known for highly reliable performance in challenging industrial environments. These industrial grade modems provide temperature ranges from -40 to +70°C (-40 to +158°F) and high-speed wireless Ethernet connectivity- up to 54 Mbps (over the air data rate) for both the 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz 802.11 bg modems at distances up to 10 miles (16 km) using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology. Regardless of your 802.11 b/g or 900 MHz project, Data-Linc Group's FastLinc Family offers features that can meet your demanding industrial network communication speed requirements.

In response to customer request, Data-Linc designed these modems for industrial applications that require high-speed wireless Ethernet communications at a reasonable cost. FastLinc includes many industrial-grade features that offer superior performance compared to commercially available IEEE 802.11b technology, while maintaining a cost effective price. Data-Linc Group's FLC910E, part of the FastLinc Family of high-speed modems, offers a new option in data transmission. Using OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology and the robust 900 MHz ISM band, the FLC910E provides high data rates and immunity to multipath fading. It is an ideal data communication option for noisy in-plant environments. It handles data with a spreading method that utilizes a wide number of carrier frequencies transmitted simultaneously, dividing signal data across exactly spaced carrier frequencies uniquely designed to have the exact minimum "orthogonal" spacing. This ensures that each carrier frequency will not interfere with any other, and it is this precise space utilization in the 900 MHz band that gives the FLC910E its robust, reliable performance.

Data-Linc Group's FastLinc FLC830E modem- OFDM technology in the robust 2.4 GHz band

Data-Linc Group's FLC830E, part of the FastLinc Family of high-speed wireless, industrial Ethernet modems, blends OFDM— Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing— and 802.11 technology. It is the "next step" in RF technology and provides an ideal data communication option for installations requiring exceptionally fast data rates, as well as those in high RF-noise environment. The FLC830E replaces and is backward compatible with the FLC810E+ and the FLC820G and is superior in robustness and speed compared to other 2.4 GHz products. 300mW stand-alone wireless Ethernet 802.11b modem

Data-Linc Group's FLC810E+ stand-alone wireless Ethernet 802.11b modem adds high power and support for multiple field devices to the FastLinc Family

The FastLinc 810E+ replaces the FLC810E and adds higher RF power (300mW), the ability to connect multiple Ethernet devices in station adaptor mode and a built-in router to the FastLinc Family.

Rated at a range up to 6 miles (10 km) with unobstructed line-of-sight (farther using Repeaters), the FLC810E+ is ideal for wireless Ethernet communications in challenging industrial environments.

The FLC810E+ includes wireless bridge mode for linking remote plant networks, access point mode for creating wireless hotspots within industrial plants and can also act as a Repeater for extending range or working around obstructions. In station adapter mode it can link one or more devices to the plant network.
